What if I have never worked out before?
If you have never worked out before then now is the perfect time to start!! Your trainer will sit down with you and discuss your current fitness level, goals etc to ensure that we have you on a program that will accomplish your goals!! All levels of fitness and all ages are welcome at New You.
What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring is proper sports running shoes, work out clothes(no jeans), Yoga Mat, lots of water and a positive attitude! Your trainer will contact you prior to your first session or class to advise you of any additional items you may require.
What do the workouts consist of?
Workouts can consist of core, balance, strength training, kick boxing, plyometrics, agility ladders, drills, Yoga, assisted stretching and whatever else we need to help you accomplish your goal.
What if I have limitations or injuries?
If you have limitations or injuries you are not alone. Most people do. Your trainer will work around them and make the necessary modifications where needed and still get you a great workout. A PAR- Q form which is mandatory is completed prior to your workout and discussed during your assesment so the trainer is aware of all injuries and health concerns in advance.
How long will it take to see results?
This depends upon a number of factors including your current level of fitness, how often you train, your genetics and how consistent you are at following a good nutrition plan. Depending upon these things and your goals you could be looking at anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. In addition to the change in your physical apperance you will also notice an increase in energy, reduced stress and a new positive attitude! What if I can't find time to workout?
We all lead very busy lifestyles. The key is making time for it. We always make time for what is important to us and your health and wellbeing should definitely be at the top of that list. Becoming the "NEW YOU" is a lifestyle change.
